History of Bridgepoint Systems

Bridgepoint Systems had it's beginnings 26 years ago when Robert, Gordon, and Dave Hanks began cleaning carpets part time while attending the University of Utah. The part time 'jobs' soon turned to a full time enterprise.

In the late 1970's, while the carpet and upholstery cleaning division continued to grow, Bridgepoint began to offer training to other professional cleaners and added a small supply distribution division. As carpet and fabric protectors became available, the Bridgepoint team immediately saw the VALUE that quality protectors added to the consumer.  Bridgepoint initiated a carpet and fabric protection division that spread throughout the nation by offering high quality protection for new carpet and upholstery. This service was offered by the best interior designers and furniture stores across the country. Over the years, this TYPE of business gave Bridgepoint the experience and knowledge necessary to develop and manufacture the finest carpet and upholstery cleaning, and protection products on the market today.

Approximately 13 years ago, the Bridgepoint Cleaning Network was organized. This began in Salt Lake City, Utah as an elite group of professional carpet cleaners. At the same time, Bridgepoint got out of the cleaning business and sold it's customer base to the Network members. This allowed Bridgepoint to focus on it's strengths, supplying professional carpet, upholstery, and restoration cleaners with top quality training and products. The Bridgepoint Cleaning Network has now grown to nearly 1,800 members strong, including members in several different countries. Bridgepoint has experienced rapid growth over the last 5 years. This is attributed to their absolute commitment to offer the highest level of product quality, customer service, and expert training to the professional cleaner.

Corporate Headquarters:
Is located in Salt Lake City, Utah in 50,000 square feet of office and warehouse space that includes a local store facility to service professional cleaners. In addition, Bridgepoint has nine other company owned store locations: Phoenix, Arizona; Tempe, Arizona; Tucson, Arizona; Denver, Colorado; Omaha, Nebraska; Kansas City, Kansas; Ontario, California; Greensboro, North Carolina; and Nashville, Tennessee which is housed in an 18,000 square foot facility which also serves as our east coast warehouse. Bridgepoint is also proud of its nearly 60 independent distributor locations situated throughout the United States and several foreign countries.
